Her vast experience includes working around the globe with limited-service hotels to luxury resorts and short-term vacation rentals, and everyone in between.  Inspiring teams to challenge the status quo and connect with guests in new, dynamic ways to build valuable long-term relationships and achieve performance goals.  Whether it’s creating innovative ways to train thousands of hotel staff to embrace and leverage new revenue management and sales technology or developing a Revenue Management University program in collaboration with Cornell University, School of Hotel Administration.

Leveraging storytelling to connect with her learners, Heather has designed, delivered, facilitated, and coached holistic programs for hotel, resort and corporate teams including; Revenue Management, Sales, Finance, Marketing, Analytics, Front Office, Reservations and Concierge.

From Housekeeper to Hospitality Leader

Heather’s hospitality roots began more than 30 years ago when her innate curiosity and desire for continuous improvement took her from being a housekeeper to implementing revenue management systems and best practices to leading the education efforts for Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management teams around the globe.

 

Passion for Empowering Others

She is passionate about empowering others to leverage the knowledge within to creatively solve problems, whether it be professional or in life.  She extends this passion to the younger generations, volunteering for 10+ years as an Odyssey of the Mind coach to children in grades K-12.

Heather is a seasoned world traveler and expert travel advisor with a passion for curating unforgettable journeys.  With firsthand experience exploring destinations across the globe, Heather specializes in crafting personalized itineraries that blend adventure, culture, and luxury.  As an independent travel advisor with Fora Travel, Heather combines her passions to empower travelers to experience the world, not just travel it.  

 

A Family Legacy

Heather was inspired to coach this amazing program when she saw the development and growth opportunities firsthand in her own sons. 

Fun fact - Heather’s sons have joined her as Odyssey of the Mind coaches, helping to provide elementary students with the skills to solve any problem life throws at them!  

 

Providing elementary school children with the framework and facilitating opportunities to creatively solve new problems each year blends seamlessly into the professional role she has been cultivating over the last 20+ years working with InterContinental Hotels Group and Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts.

 

Helping others comes naturally and extends to animals as well!  Heather and her family have welcomed more than 90 dogs into their home since June 2020 as a dog foster with Hero Dog Rescue.
